Members and bowlers from Edinburgh and beyond will be saddened to learn of the passing of David McGill.
An international player, British Isles Singles Champion (1977), Silver medallist world championships he was well known and respected bowler throughout the decades.
David has been involved in so many aspects of bowls and hugely involved in encouraging the youth by repurposing larger bowls into smaller bowls not produced by the manufacturers we know in out game.
A very forward thinking and innovative ambassador for our sport will be missed by many.
