Yesterday Bowls Scotland announced Robert Donaldson of Parkside BC as the successful applicant to take over the convener role for District 15 clubs.
You will all be familiar with Roberts passion for bowls having played at the highest level and also sat on many committees within Edinburgh.
He is looking forward to the challenge and we all at EBA as I am sure all of you also wish him every success in this new and exciting venture.
Whilst we congratulate Robert, we must also thank Kenny Girlder for his work in the district over past years and wish him well for the future.
We are looking forward to a much more normal and successful year especially the National qualifiers in both district 14 and 15 and I am sure you will support both of our convenors, Graeme and Robert as they navigate us through the early season.
